A six-member delegation on behalf of the UNESCO offices in Indonesia, Chile, Afghanistan and Pakistan visited IIEES on June 14, 2015,in order to get acquainted with the activities of the institute and investigating about regional cooperation. In this meeting, two parties became acquainted with mission and different fields of activities and their concerns regarding natural disasters and risk management. They also investigated the possible fields of bilateral cooperation based on IIEES potentialities and facilities, performing the upcoming annual school earthquake drill all over the region and exchanging students at higher education degrees. At the end, they visited IIEES laboratories of structural and geotechnical engineering.
