Centrifuge of Advanced Earthquake Engineering Laboratory at Sohanak was launched as a pilot on September 8, 2015 with the presence of IIEES president.
This device has a platform radius of 3.4 meters and chamber size of 0.8×1 m2 with a load capacity of 1500 kg.
The Centrifuge was initially launched in the spring of 2015 successfully with installation of the related electrical and wiring cabinet and performing hot and cold testing.
Having such technology, Iran is now amongst the few countries that are able to provide related services for national and international industrial centers.
