In a meeting held on Sunday, March 10, 2025, with the presence of IIEES president and relevant deputies and specialists from IIEES and Tehran Disaster Mitigation and Management Organization (TDMMO), the potential areas of collaboration between both institutions on development, installation, and operation of the Earthquake Early Warning System in Tehran was discussed.
The participants in the meeting also emphasized the necessity of facilitating interactions between IIEES and TDMMO in other areas related to earthquake and geo-hazards disaster risk reduction and management. Both organizations agreed to expand their bilateral cooperation by establishing joint specialized working groups in the field of the Earthquake Early Warning System and other areas of mutual interest.
