According to the IIEES Public Relations office, in a meeting held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, with the presence of the president of the institute and experts from the National Center of Broadband Seismic Network of Iran, Dr. Majid Mahood was appointed as the director of the Center and the efforts of Dr. Gholam Javan, the former director of the Center, was appreciated.
The meeting concluded with discussions and exchanges of ideas regarding the challenges and opportunities for enhancing IIEES seismic network and stations.
